Contemporary

Teachers & Instructors:

·         is characterized by body relaxation and opening, not only physically and artistically, but also mentally

·         the essence of contemporary is to connect the mind with the body and to express one's thoughts and feelings through dance

It respects the natural lines of the body, the smoothness and naturalness of the movement, leads the dancer to work with the centre of gravity, his off-axis shifts during rotations and jumps, as well as during controlled falls and rolls. This style is characterized by a large degree of abstraction in dance movements and overall expression. For beginners and advanced, who do not have professional goals, it is important to experience and express emotions for a given choreography. Contemporary consists of various dance techniques, work on the floor, with a focus on work both in a group and as an individual (basics of ballet and modern techniques, floor work, etc.).
