Jazz dance

Teachers & Instructors:

The modern jazz-like style combines Jazz with more relaxed Contemporary Dance techniques and Ballet.

An expression is an essential element in this dance, sharing feelings and moods given by music or choreography theme. Another crucial part of the lesson is a proper warm-up, as well as cooling down. Steps and jazz technique are learned in short dynamic variations via practising coordination exercises, which can be simplified or made more difficult. The steps are then merged to step links in space and later combined with jumps. The final part of the lesson then combines all practised elements into a short choreography.
