She has been dancing, teaching and choreographing for over fifteen years. Janet Jackson and Prince were her role models during her growing years in Mlada Boleslav. Svatava has experience with all sorts of dance styles including disco, modern and jazz dance, urban Hip-hop, oriental dance, African dance and dancehall.
Studying body movement and spine disorders led her to practice yoga. Beginning with the practice of body composition exercises and continuing with the “dance” approach by using her body and mind. As part of her yoga career, she completed many seminars and stayed abroad until she fell in love with South Boston Yoga Teachers, wherein 2013 she attended a teacher training course. Afterwards, Svatava started to work in Dance Station, Social Bakers, Elements Community and PBS Prague as a private yoga teacher, because she likes an individual approach. Another passion of her is currently Acro Yoga, due to its playfulness and slightly different way of movement and interplay. She was inspired by workshops of Jacob Handwerker, one of the first great teachers of Acro Yoga in Bohemia.
Teacher training 200 YTH, Boston Yoga Teachers (2013), Kula Yoga Project intensive in NYC (2014).
